freexifdata.com provides client-side photo utilities allowing users to inspect EXIF, IPTC, XMP, and ICC metadata tags, assess privacy exposure (such as embedded GPS location coordinates and camera serial numbers), and sanitize or strip metadata prior to publishing or sharing images online.

The Service executes client-side via JavaScript TypedArrays, Canvas re-encoding, and Web APIs directly inside the user's local web browser environment. No user imagery or metadata is transmitted across network channels to our servers.

3. User Content & Intellectual Property Ownership

You retain full copyright, trademark, and all other proprietary rights to any photographs, images, or documents you load into freexifdata.com. Because our tools operate locally within your browser sandbox, freexifdata.com does not acquire any license, claim, or ownership interest in your content.

4. Permitted and Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use freexifdata.com solely for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Attempt to compromise, disrupt, or overwhelm the website infrastructure through denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks or automated bot scrapers.
• Inject malicious code, exploits, or corrupted binary payloads intended to compromise client-side browser engines or other users.
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable local, national, or international privacy laws or intellectual property rights.
• Misrepresent freexifdata.com as having verified the authenticity or legal provenance of any photographic evidence.

While our algorithms are engineered to strip all standard EXIF, GPS, camera, and author metadata blocks, camera manufacturers frequently modify proprietary MakerNote structures and vendor metadata chunks. We do not warrant that metadata sanitization will be 100% exhaustive for every experimental, non-standard, or corrupted file format. Users handling high-security or legally sensitive files are advised to independently audit output files before public distribution.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall freexifdata.com, its maintainers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data loss, photo corruption, privacy breaches, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

7. Third-Party Services, Maps & Advertisements

The Service may incorporate links to third-party tools (such as OpenStreetMap or Google Maps for viewing geolocation coordinates upon explicit user request) or display third-party advertisements (such as Google AdSense) to subsidize hosting and domain costs. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or availability of third-party external services.

The freexifdata.com brand, domain, logo, website design, UI layout, custom CSS tokens, and underlying source code are the intellectual property of freexifdata.com and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

9. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. When updates occur, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the Service following any revisions constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
